About Hilo Products Inc.
Hilo Products started in 1938 by Mr. Reiji Suzuki selling daikon and pineapples and delivering produce by car to Hamakua and Ka'u.
The 1946 tsunami badly damaged their store. The Suzuki's rebuilt their warehouse but was destroyed again by the 1960 tsunami.
The Suzuki family moved to their present location on Maka'ala St in 1962. With hard work, dedication, and honesty, Hilo Products continues to be one of the most trusted and well-respected business in Hawaii.
